Faith hit different after my dad passed

Losing my dad last spring cracked something open in me spiritually that I wasn't expecting. Started questioning everything but also craving something real and grounded. A coworker mentioned Potter's House changed her perspective completely. Has anyone here found that grief actually pulled them closer to church rather than away?

Lost my mom three years ago and grief did the opposite of what I expected - it didn't push me out, it pulled me in hard. Not because everything made sense but because I needed somewhere to bring the questions that had no answers. Found that the community around me mattered more than the theology at first. Just people who sat with the weight of it without trying to fix it. Local church in Prescott  was that for someone close to me after her own loss. Said the teaching was grounded, not performative. Sometimes that's exactly the right fit for where grief leaves you. You're not alone in this.
