Dish brush for everyday family use?

We have a family of four and do dishes by hand twice a day. Most brushes get gross or lose bristles too fast. Looking for something reliable that handles plates, pots, and glasses without falling apart quickly. Any favorites?

With that much daily use, you really need a brush that can take a beating without getting disgusting. I’ve gone through plenty that start shedding bristles into the sink after a week or two. Now I stick to ones with solid construction—good nylon bristles, a grippy handle, and a shape that reaches everywhere. This 1 dish brush I’ve had for over three months now holds up surprisingly well for our routine. It scrubs stuck-on oatmeal from kids’ bowls and greasy frying pans without much effort, and the handle doesn’t slip when soapy. I rinse it well, hang it to dry, and give it a quick vinegar soak every couple of weeks to keep odors away. It’s simple but does the job consistently.
