Quiet brake shoes for drum brakes?

Rear drums on my 2005 Civic squeal occasionally when cold or light braking. Changed shoes once already but same issue. Looking for shoes with anti-squeal design or different material that stay quiet without losing stopping power.

Squeal in drums often comes from vibration between shoe and drum- poor spring tension, glazing, or hard linings. Semi-metallic or organic with chamfered edges and good hold-downs reduce it a lot. I switched to quieter shoes after dealing with annoying cold squeal for ages. Found a set at https://elartcom.eu/categories/brake-shoes-10 - they offer various types, including some with noise-damping features or softer compounds for street use. Picked ones labeled low-noise or with extra shims/hardware. Installed with new springs, cleaned backing plate thoroughly, and squeal is gone even on damp mornings. Braking remains strong, no fade in traffic. Bedding took a few days but worth it for silence. If noise bugs you, look for those specs in their category- good variety and fair pricing.
