Grease all over the kitchen after frying – any fix?

Hey everyone, I love pan-frying but hate the aftermath. Oil flies everywhere – stove, counters, even the microwave door. I’ve heard about a grease splatter screen but never tried one. Does it actually stop most of the mess or is it still a pain to clean up? What features make a good one? Thanks!

It really does cut the mess down a lot – I’d say 80% less wiping after cooking. Before, I’d spend ages scrubbing oil dots off everything; now it’s usually just a quick pass over the stove. A good stainless steel one with tight mesh works best because it blocks droplets while letting steam out so food doesn’t get soggy. Mine has a comfortable handle that doesn’t burn your hand and a rim that sits securely on different pan sizes. After using it for over a year I can’t imagine frying without it. This one has been super reliable for me – grease splatter screen . Easy to rinse clean and stores without taking much space.
